You may have missed this story last month, but a 72-year-old man was arrested after a hit-and-run crash seriously injured a pedestrian in northwest Miami-Dade County.
The victim was a 54-year-old woman who was crossing the street at around 7 p.m. when she was struck by the man’s Toyota Tundra. She was taken to the hospital by ambulance where she is currently recovering from her injuries.
Police were able to locate the driver of the vehicle thanks to surveillance footage of the incident. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing serious injury.
